Training  Department

The Training Department in the Agricultural Machinery Training Academy is responsible for designing, organizing, and delivering effective training programs that equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in agricultural machinery operations, maintenance, Agri-Mechanization Business management and fabrication of local farm machineries.

Technology Innovation Promotion (TIP) Dept

The Technology Innovation Promotion (TIP) Department in the Agricultural Machinery Training Academy is responsible for fostering a culture of innovation, staying at the forefront of technological advancements, and promoting innovative practices within the academy and farming communities in Nigeria and Africa.
The TIP Department major goal is to research, identify and where feasible collaborate with manufacturers of innovative agricultural machinery and technologies to promote adoption by farmers and other Value chain actors in Nigeria and other countries through AMTA Customized Mechanization Extension Outreach (C-MEO) and Digital Promotion Platform.

Technical Service Department (TSD)

The Technical Service Department in an Agricultural Machinery Training Academy is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of equipment, providing technical support to instructors and students, and creating a safe and conducive learning environment.
The Technical Service Department is directly responsible for overseeing the School to field program of the Academy designed to provide business/work opportunities for outstanding trainees of the Academy through the AgroMech Village Business arm of the Academy.

Research & Development Department (RDD)

The Research and Development (R&D) Department in the Agricultural Machinery Training Academy focuses on advancing knowledge, innovation, and best practices related to agricultural machinery. This department plays a critical role in driving progress, staying current with industry trends, and enhancing training methodologies.

Finance & Administrative Department (FAD)

The Finance and Administrative Department (AMTA) is responsible for managing the financial operations, administrative functions, and overall organizational efficiency. Here are the key responsibilities and functions of this department.

Technology Innovation Promotion

We drive innovation and technological advancement in Nigeria and Africa. Our focus is on fostering innovation within the academy and local farming communities. By conducting research, collaborate with agricultural machinery manufacturers, and promotes innovative practices. Our goal is to facilitate the adoption of cutting-edge agricultural technologies through Customized Mechanization Extension Outreach (C-MEO) and tech-driven platforms, benefiting farmers and other stakeholders. We enhance the academy’s training programs, ensuring operators and mechanics acquire the necessary skills to utilize these innovative technologies effectively.
